© The Chickasha Daily Express Chickasha, Oklahoma Monday, January 21, 1963 May 4, 1909 ~ January 16, 1963 Ivan Gilbert, Route 1, Pocasset, died at 1:30 pm Saturday at his home. Born May 4, 1909 near Truman, Ark, he had been a resident of Dutton Community since 1945. Prior to that time he lived in Albuquerque, N.M. A dairy farmer, he died following a sudden heart attack. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Juanita Gilbert of the home address; one son, Ivan M. Gilbert, Verden; a daughter, Miss Evelyn Gilbert, Chickasha; three sister, Mrs. Tom Bass, Mrs. Roy N. Hise and Mrs. J. A. Swafford, Albuquerque; four brothers, O. D. Gilbert, Mound City, Mo, Orval Gilbert, Bay, Ark, Herman Gilbert, Palmdale, Calif. and Cleo Gilbert, Pasadena, Calif. and one grandson. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in the chapel of Sevier's Funeral Home. Interment will be in Fairlawn Cemetery. |
© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Sunday, October 8, 2006 October 27, 1940 ~ October 4, 2006 Chapel services for Helen Francis Gilbert, 65, of Clinton were held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 7, 2006, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel with Rev. Lee Gleason officiating. Burial concluded at 2:00 p.m. in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha under the direction of the Kiesau Lee Funeral Home. Helen was born October 27, 1940, in Chickasha, to Willie and Alma [Miller] Briscoe, and passed away unexpectedly Thursday, October 4, 2006, in the Integris Clinton Regional Hospital. |
