© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma June 25, 2002 Doss Fulton July 25, 1912 ~ June 23, 2002 Graveside services for Doss Fulton, age 89, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2002, at the Fairlawn Cemetery with Mr. Jim Sheerer officiating. He was born July 25, 1912, in Haskell, Oklahoma, to William Franklin Fultonand Effie Estell [Lee] Fulton. He died June 23, 2002, in Chickasha. He was raised in Haskell and moved to Chickasha in 1924 with his family. He married Addie Mae Bartlett on February 21, 1939, near Lindsay. He worked as a mechanic and a car salesman at Fulton Motors for several years and later began farming and ranching on his farm east of town. He moved with his family in 1979 to Nashville, Arkansas, where he continued in the cattle business. He returned to Chickasha in 2001. He was a member of the Northside Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing; he loved to buy, sell and trade and enjoyed to joke and have a good time. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kent Fulton; 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Survivors include: his wife, Addie Mae Fulton, of Chickasha, OK; 2 sons: Vincent Fulton, of Chickasha, and Allen Fulton and wife Jan, of Hope, AR; 4 grandchildren: Shana Steel and husband Brad, of Pauls Valley, OK, Travis Fulton and wife Barbara, of Pauls Valley, Tiffany Scott, of Hope, AR, and Kristofer Scott of Hope, AR; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Charles Fulton, of Pauls Valley; and sister, Mary Don, of Florida. Services are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home. |
