Funeral service for Billie Doris [Murphy] Francis, 87, will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 3, 2010, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

Billie Doris [Murphy] Francis was born January 11, 1923, in Haskell, Texas, to William and Carrie [Franks] Murphy. She passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010, in Borger, Texas.

She married William "Bill" Francis on July 6, 1947 in Chickasha. She was a member of the Epworth Methodist Church. Francis also served in the United States Army as a medical technician.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, in 1984 and her parents.

Survivors include her son, Pat Murphy and wife Jane of Duncan, OK; daughter, Clarice Grover and husband George of Borger, TX; three grandchildren, G.W. Grover of Borger, Tx, Michael Francis of Chickasha, OK, Stacy Francis of Duncan, OK; five great grandchildren, Jarah Grover of Borger, TX, Landen Grover of Borger, TX, Conner Francis of Chickasha, OK, Hadley Francis of Chickasha, OK and Dani Francis of Duncan, OK.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home of Chickasha.
