August 27, 1944 ~ June 15, 2010


Funeral services for Dempsey Lee Faulkinberry, 65, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 18, 2010, at the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.

Dempsey L. Faulkinberry was born August 27, 1944, in Wanette, Oklahoma. He died June 15, 2010, in Chickasha.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Richard Dean Faulkinberry
January 8, 1979 ~ April 4, 2009


Funeral service for Richard Dean Faulkinberry, age 30, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2009, in the Word of Life Church. Brother Lavern Ragain will officiate and Pastor David Trammell will assist.

Richard Dean Faulkinberry was born on January 8, 1979, in Burbank, California. He died on April 4, 2009, in an accident near Hinton, Oklahoma.

Richard graduated from Chickasha High School in 1998 and proudly wore #99 for the Chickasha Fighting Chicks football team. After graduation, he attended Bacone College in Muskogee in pursuit of degree in criminology. Richard previously worked for special forces in Okmulgee County Jail. He served as detention officer, transportation officer, correctional emergency response team, backed up SWAT team and special weapons and tactics. Richard was currently working at the Cornell Companies Great Plains Correctional Facility in Hinton as a correctional officer.

He was a member of the Word of Life Church.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Faulkinberry, paternal grandparents, Freemon and Viola Faulkinberry, maternal grandparents, Robert and Bobbie Hays, and maternal grandfather, Jackson Welcher.

Survivors include: Parents: Ronald and Belinda Faulkinberry of Chickasha, Sister: Christy Faulkinberry of Chickasha, Daughter: Taylor Nicole Faulkinberry of Sherman, Texas, Host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and Friends.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of McRay Funeral Home.
