© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Wednesday, July 18, 2007 Derick Justice Lindsay Doughty February 5, 2007 ~ July 13, 2007 Marlow: Derick Justice Doughty, 5 months, passed away Friday, July 13, 2007 in Marlow. Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, July 19, 2007, at the College Heights Baptist Church in Chickasha, with Rev. Dale Blake officiating. Burial will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, in Chickasha under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow. Derick was born Monday, February 5, 2007, to Derek Phillip and Kandace KayLynn [Lindsay] Doughty. He lived in Chickasha before moving to Marlow three months ago. He enjoyed riding his daddy and Pops knee like a horsey and shifting gears with his Pops thumb. He giggled and showed off his dimples the most when his daddy would throw him up in the air. When he was sad and crying, his mommy's touch would comfort him. He had just mastered the binky and loved his orange activity chair. He was so loving and enjoyed being swaddled and patted on his bottom. Derick enjoyed playing with his big sister and had just learned how to tease her by taking her toy away. His survivors include, Parents, Derek & Kandace Doughty of Marlow, OK; Sister, LindsayAnn Nicole Doughty of the home; Paternal Grandmother, Norma Doughty of Chickasha, OK; Paternal Grandfather, Terry Doughty of Chickasha, OK; Maternal Grandfather, Ronnie "Pops" Lindsay of Chickasha, OK; Maternal Grandparents, Tammy & Gary Wantland of Chickasha, OK; Paternal Great Grandparents, Margaret Pena of Chickasha, OK; Maternal Great Grandfathers, J.W. "Papa" Pierce of McComb, OK, Roy Fox of Bakersfield, CA; Maternal Great Grandmother, Judy Lynch of Chickasha, OK; Maternal Great Grandparents, Harold & Bernice Lindsay of Marlow, OK. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Great Grandfather, Albert Cordova Pena.
