© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Thursday, July 2, 2009 Henry Doucet January 11, 1926 ~ June 30, 2009 Funeral service for Henry Doucet, 83, of Chickasha will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church in Chickasha. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. Henry Doucet was born January 11, 1926 in Whiteville, LA. He was born the son of Julian and Marie [Hebert] Doucet. On March 21, 1952, he and Lillie Margaret Jones were married in Chickasha. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He died at his Chickasha home on Tuesday, June 30, 2009. A veteran of World War II, Korean War and Vietnam conflict, Master Sergeant Doucet [E-8], retired from the U.S. Army after 27 years of service. He was the recipient of the Bronze Star twice and the Purple Heart. He returned to Chickasha in 1974 and was employed 18 years at the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission in Chickasha. Survivors include his wife, Lillie Margaret, of the home; children, Julia Ann Doucet, Chickasha; Henry and Debbie Doucet, Jr. of Moore; Robert Dean and Doris Doucet of Moore; Carol Jean Doucet, Chickasha; and Jeffery Linn Doucet, also of Chickasha. Grandchildren and great grandchildren include Jenny and William Kaiser and children, Kirsten, Sami, Kristopher, Lexie and Cloey of Pocasset; Necie and Jimmie Janko and children, Emilee and Gracie of Moore; Hank J. Doucet of Moore; Gene and Sonia Young and children, Keeley, Bronson, Briceyda, Bobby, and Brandon of Moore; Bobby and Marie Doucet and children, Kiya and Cameron of Mustang; and Lillie, Dakota and Braelyn Doucet of Chickasha; sister, Josephine Prudhomme and numerous nieces and nephews. |
