© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Febuary 9, 2001 James Earl Denson July 29, 1941 ~ February 2, 2001 Funeral service for James Earl Denson, 59, of Chickasha, will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 12, 2001, in Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Chickasha, with Rev. Stephen Braxton, pastor, officiating. Mr. Denson died February 2, 2001, in Lawton, OK, following a sudden illness. He was born July 29, 1941 in Oklahoma City to Algie and Lemora Denson. He came to Chickasha in 1984 from Oklahoma City, OK. He was formerly employed by St. Anthony Hospital and Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church where he served as pianist. Mr. Denson graduated from Douglass High School in Oklahoma City, and attended Langston University. Survivors include: 3 brothers: Glenn Denson, Harold Denson and Eddie Denson all of Oklahoma City; 2 sisters: Algerine Gerald of New Jersey, Cherita Hytches of Oklahoma City; host of nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call Fletcher-Jefferson Chapel on Sunday, February 11, 2001, from 12 to 7 p.m. |
