© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Sunday, December 4, 2005 Steven Wayne Danforth May 5, 1962 ~ December 2, 2005 Funeral services for Steven Wayne Danforth, 43, of Chickasha, will be held at 1 p.m., on Monday, December 5, 2005 in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rick Smith officiating. Steven Danforth was born May 5, 1962, in French Camp, California, the son of Wayne and Peggy [Moody] Danforth. He died December 2, 2005, at his home in Chickasha after a courageous battle with cancer. Steven grew up in Stockton, California. He attended school and graduated from Stagg High School. He was an adventurist. He loved traveling and sight-seeing. Being self-employed as a construction contractor, he was able to work all over the United States, which gave him the ability to travel as well as earn a living. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Mark and Ethel Danforth; maternal grandparents: Cleo and Betty Moody; four uncles; four aunts; one nephew; and four cousins. He is survived by two tons: Joshua Danforth, of Stockton, California, and Jacob Danforth, of Chickasha; one daughter: Jenice Ray, of Stockton, California; father, Wayne Danforth of Chickasha; mother, Peggy Danforth of Chickasha; brother and sister-in-law: Mark and Sherri Danforth, of Soap Lake, Washington; sister, Sherry Danforth; three granddaughters: Monica, Jozlyn, and Anneliese Danforth; five nephews; one niece; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. |
