January 8, 2013 Martha Sue [Ward] Coursey October 26, 1942 ~ January 8, 2013 Funeral service for Martha Sue Coursey, age 70 of Chickasha will be held at 2 pm on Friday, January 11, 2013, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Larry Hatfield will officiate. Martha Sue was born the daughter of William J. Ward and Lora Alsobrook Ward on October 26, 1942, in Chickasha. She died on January 8, 2013 in Oklahoma City. Martha grew up and attended school in Chickasha. She married Roy Coursey in 1987 in Chickasha. She was a waitress for several years early in life and later worked at Pet Milk. However, the most important thing in her life was being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Grand Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lora Ward, three brothers, Jimmy, Billy Ray, and Joe, and her husband, Roy, in 2008. Survivors include her son & wife, Butch & Gail Cobb of Barnsdell; daughter & husband, Lora & Kevin Selch of Kerrville,TX; brother & wife, Gerald & Joyce Ward of Purcell; sister, Reba Faye Silvis of Painesville, OH; sister & husband, Joyce & Gene Carr of Chickasha; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren & other family; step-son, Larry Coursey of Pueblo,CO; step-daughter, Judy Manuel of Duncan; numerous step-grandchildren & step-great grandchildren. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery. Service will be under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home. |
