© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Wednesday, 27 May 2009 ~ Friday, May 29, 2009 Charles Wayne "Chuck" Chadrick May 18, 1945 ~ May 22, 2009 Funeral services for Charles "Chuck" Chadrick, 64, of Chickasha will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 29, 2009, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel. Charles "Chuck" Chadrick was born May 18, 1945, in Spencerville, Oklahoma, the son of Harley and Arlessia [Thornto] Chadrick. He died May 22, 2009, in Chickasha. He grew up in Eastern Oklahoma where he attended Spencerville Schools. Chuck was married to JoAnn Chadrick on September 21, 2004, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She preceded him on death August 8, 2007. Chuck was a knowledgeable man and was everybody's rock to lean on. He was a very proud man and he was proud of his family. He loved spending time with his family, riding 4-wheelers, fishing, camping, or anything affiliated with the lake. He also enjoyed putting limb lines out at the river, putting around the farm, going to the casinos where he enjoyed playing cards as well as the slots. Chuck was a member of the Eagles Lodge. He was active in the Eagles Auxiliary Riders Club, where he was the road captain. He participated in many fund raising projects where he raised substantial funds for various charities in the community. He was preceded in death by both parents; his wife, JoAnn; and eight brothers and sisters.Chuck leaves behind five children and their families: Charles "Chad" and Rita Chadrick, Gina and Mike Parham, Trina Symons, Lisa Chadrick , and Jeff Chadrick; brother, Rocky Chadrick; and much extended family. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. |
