© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma March 2011 Terry Eugene Byrd April 7, 1959 ~ March 20, 2011 Funeral service for Terry Eugene Byrd, 51, of Tuttle, Oklahoma qill be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2011 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home Terry Eugene Byrd was born April 7, 1959 in Anadarko and died March 20, 2011 in Oklahoma City. Terry graduated from Verden High School in 1977. He joined the US Army prior to his graduation and served 14 years including several years in Germany. Terry was a drill instructor, takn commander, and weapons expert. After his service in the US Armt, he continued serving his country by joining the Oklahoma National Guard. He was currently employed at the Grady County Jail as a Detention Officer. Survivors include: Children: Aaron Byrd and Theresa of Lindsay, Amanda Smith and Jon of Chickasha, Marlow Byrd and Karra of Chickasha, Dakota Byrd of Chickasha, Father: Lynn Byrd of Tuttle, Mother: Juanita Box of Chickasha, Brother: Robert Byrd of Cromwell, 13 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and step-siblings. Interment will be held in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
