© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma June 14, 2011 Alpharetta Margaret "Fritzi" [Barbour] Burns September 2, 1942 ~ June 11, 2011 Alpharetta "Fritzi" Margaret "Fritzi" Burns was born September 2, 1942, in Southfield Township MI to Bernard Francis Barbour and Fern Edna Williams, and died Saturday, June 11, 2011, in Chickasha. Fritzi graduated High School in Southfield and moved to Chickasha OK in 1960 where she married Richard Allen Burns on September 17, 1960. She worked for Grady Memorial Hospital as a dietary receiving clerk for 15 years and retired in 2004. She enjoyed watching her kids and grandkids play all sports, especially baseball. She loved traveling, sewing, and decorating cakes. She had traveled to all the lower 48 states. She was preceded in death by her Parents Bernard and Fern Barbour and mother-in-law and father-in-law Talley and Nina Burns. Survivors include her husband, Richard Burns, of the home; children Gary Burns of Chickasha, Fern Tomlinson and husband Chris of Elgin OK, Roxanne Rodriquez of Bethany OK, Ricky Burns and fiancee LeeAnn Victery of Chickasha; sisters Milly Boycott of DeRidder LA, Jeanne Laszko of Fall Brook CA, Bernie Loprete of Royal Oak MI; brother Nardie Barbour of Fall Brook CA; grandchildren: Krysten Tomlinson O'Donnell, Serenity Hinton, Joshua Hinton, Kelby Tomlinson, Zack Burns, Natasha Hinton, Kollin Tomlinson, Richard Rodriquez, Fancy Burns, Kameron Tomlinson, Hannah Burns, Jessica Rodriquez; great-granddaughters: Autumn Longoria-O'Donnell, Natalia O'Donnell, Julianna O'Donnell; and numerous nieces and nephews. |
