© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma September 18, 2011 Wayne Russell Brown September 13, 1949 ~ September 17, 2011 Wayne Russell Brown, age 62, of Oklahoma City OK, was born the son of Judge Brown and Annie Holmes Brown on September 13, 1949, in Chickasha OK. He died on September 17, 2011, at his home in Oklahoma City. Russell grew up in Chickasha. At the age of 18, he moved to Texas to work in the oil field. He married Sharon Salyer on July 11, 1970, in Wichita Falls TX. Shortly after his marriage, they moved to Oklahoma City where he started working as a carpet layer. Russell lived in Oklahoma City most of his adult life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Judge and Annie Brown; two sisters, Ruby St. Onge and Joann Flint; three brothers, Billy, JA, and Jimmy Brown; and wife, Sharon. Survivors include: daughter Lisa Brimacombe of Edmond OK; son Rusty Brown of Ponca City OK; grandchildren Alexandria and Chloe White of Edmond, and Emily and Lyvia Brown of Ponca City; brothers Johnny Brown of Oklahoma City, Earl Brown of Newcastle OK, and Bobby Brown of Oklahoma City. |
