Bowens will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2002, at Shepherd Street Christian Church. Rev. Dr. Nettie Fisher, pastor, will officiate. James C. Bowens was born February 11, 1924, in Verden, Okla., and died on Wednesday, May 22, 2002, in Flint, Mich. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Brown/Christian Funeral Home. |
