© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma May 10, 2010 Ralph Franklin "Frank" Bond February 7, 1935 ~ May 7, 2010 Graveside services for Ralph Franklin "Frank" Bond, 75, of Minco, OK will be Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha. Frank Bond was born February 7, 1935 in Chickasha, OK to Leonard Russell and Willie May [Myers] Bond. He passed away on Friday, May 7, 2010 at his home in Minco. Frank graduated from Verden High School and has lived in Grady County all of his life. He married Joyce Duffer on August 28, 1957 in Chickasha and they have made their home in Minco since 1965. He had worked for Lucent Technologies for 27 years. Frank served in the U.S. Army Reserves for 6 years. He enjoyed coaching and playing softball and he umpired baseball and softball. He also enjoyed many years of farming and gardening. He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Rosa Lee Hill and Faye Marie Bond. Frank is survived by his wife, Joyce, of the home; 2 sons: Clifford Dale Bond and his wife, Sonya, of Yukon, Jeffery Leonard Bond and his fiance, Jammie Horn of Shawnee; a daughter: Ginger Ann Archuleta, and her husband, Isidor, of Farmington, NM; 3 brothers: Kenneth Bond of Chickasha, Johnny Bond of Chickasha, Russell Perry Bond of Dawson, TX; 2 sisters: Jane Pearcy of Chickasha, Charlette Slawson of Norman; several grandchildren including grandson, Derek Bond and great grandson Riley Bond; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Bond at the First National Bank of Chickasha or Minco. Funeral services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home, Chickasha, OK |
