Baker was born August 29, 1954 in Chickasha and died Friday, January 20, 2006 at Anadarko. Services will be under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. © The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Monday, January 23, 2006 Jack Edward Baker Funeral service for Jack Edward Baker, age 51, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2006 in the Bible Baptist Church, Chickasha, Oklahoma. Jack Edward Baker was born August 29, 1954 in Chickasha. He died January 20, 2006 at his home near Anadarko. He was the son of Jack George Baker and Barbara Lea [McCloskey] Baker. Jack had lived in the Chickasha area all of his life. He graduated from Chickasha High School in 1972 and Okmulgee State Technical College in 1975. He had worked as an electrician all of his life. He had owned and operated Total Oilfield Electric and was currently employed by Delta Faucet in electrical maintenance. He married Gayla Ratcliff December 14, 1978. Survivors include: his wife Gayla Baker of the home; one daughter: Shannon Gibson and son-in-law Greg of Chickasha; one son: Jack Michael Baker and daughter-in-law Rebecca of Yukon, Okla.; two sisters: Cherryl Fergason and husband Gene of Chickasha; Renee Watt and husband Steve of Chickasha; grandchildren: Abbigaile Jayla Gibson of Chickasha; and future grandchild of Yukon, to be born in July. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
