© The Chickasha Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Thursday, June 9, 1994, pg 9 col 6 Esther Rosetta [Moore] Bailey September 23, 1923 ~ May 31, 1994 Funeral service for Esther Rosetta Bailey, age 70 of Amber, Oklahoma was held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 1994 in the Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. J. D. Moore officiating and Rev. Mike Ketner, pastor, assisting. Esther Rosetta Bailey was born on September 23, 1923, the daughter of Floyd Franklin Moore and Goldie Pendleton Moore in Paden, Oklahoma. She died on Tuesday, May 31, 1994 in Midwest City Regional Hospital. Mrs. Bailey moved to Amber, Oklahoma in 1960 from California and married William G. Bailey on July 15, 1964 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Esther worked in nursing care homes, private care nursing and Grady Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by both parents, and her husband, William Bailey on October 13, 1986. Survivors include three sons, Bob Killman of Amber, Oklahoma, Floyd Killman of Chickasha, Lee Killman of Anadarko; four daughters, Muriel Beck of California, Edith James of Newcastle, Oklahoma, Anna Merritt of Newcastle, Oklahoma, LaDonna Norris of Ninnekah; three brothers, Bob Moore of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Chester Moore of Okemah, Oklahoma, Quincey Crosby of Newalla, Oklahoma; two sisters, Jewel of Okemah, Oklahoma, Norie Cook of Mangum, Oklahoma; twenty eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Interment was in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Binyon Funeral Home. |
