Andrews was born on November 24, 1916. She died on June 2, 2006. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of McRay Funeral Home. © The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Monday, June 5, 2006 Ina May Andrews November 24, 1916 ~ June 2, 2006 Funeral service for Ina May Andrews, age 89, of Chickasha will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2006, in the McRay Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Michael Oberlender will officiate. Mrs. Andrews was born the daughter of Oscar Frederick Larson and Minnie Alberta Heilman Larson on November 24, 1916, in Eakley, Oklahoma. She went to be with her Lord on June 2, 2006. Mrs. Andrews married Clifton M. Andrews on July 30, 1938, in Purcell, Oklahoma. After living in El Paso, Texas, they moved to Chickasha. She and her husband owned and operated Clif Andrews Motors from 1949 to 1968. In 1968, they opened Clif Andrews Marine. Her grandson, Richard Trotter, joined the business in 1980 and she retired in 1990. Mrs. Andrews was a member of the First Christian Church and was actively involved in the 20th Century Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Junior Social Workers, and many other community organizations. After moving to Christian Care Retirement Village, she served as the official welcoming committee for sixteen years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1986, and two sons at birth. Survivors include: daughter and husband: Joyce and Bob Trotter of Longemont, CO; Son: Larry Andrews of Balch Springs, TX; sister: Dorothy Ralston of Lookeba, OK; grandson and wife: Rich and Amy Trotter of Cement, OK; grandson and wife: Donald and Stephanie Trotter of Loveland, CO; grandson: Steve Trotter of Ft. Collins, CO; two great grandsons: Brandon and John Trotter; two step grandchildren: Ron and Tammy Bradley; other family and friends. Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of McRay Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mcrayfuneral.com.
