Funeral services for Michael Shane Alexander, 33, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 17, 2009, in the Bible Baptist Church with Kim Hayes officiating.

Michael Alexander was born November 7, 1975, in Chickasha, the son of Carl and Mary [Lutonsky] Alexander.

He died Saturday, April 11, 2009, in Chickasha.

He was raised in Chickasha and attended Chickasha Public Schools. He graduated from Chickasha High School in 1994. He then attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.

Michael married Amy [Manos] Alexander on May 10, 2008, in Chickasha.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Michael was a loving and devoted daddy to his three children and he especially enjoyed spending time with them.

He was a member of Bible Baptist Church.

Michael was preceded in death by both grandfathers: Alfred Lutonsky and Clifford Alexander; his grandmother, Louise Alexander; and an infant sister, Carla Ann Alexander.

He leaves behind his wife, Amy Alexander; three children: Braeli and Ronnie Alexander and Riley Manos; parents: Carl and Mary Alexander; brother and sister-in-law: Scott and Nikki Alexander; sister and brother-in-law: Stacie and Quintin Rogers, all of Chickasha; brother and sister-in-law: Stephen and Mandie Alexander, of Norman; brother and sister-in-law: Jerry and Lisa Alexander, of Broken Arrow; sister, Terrie Elliott, of Rowlett,Texas; grandmother, Pauline Lutonsky, of Oklahoma City; nieces and nephews: Chelsea, Ashlea, Seth, Cooper, Case, Schuyler, Jordan, Jackson, Delaney, Chad, and Chase; many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and numerous friends.

Because this disease affects Michael's daughter Braeli, in lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Central Oklahoma at 2212 NW 50th Suite 158C; Oklahoma City, OK. 73112.

Interment will be in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
