Vesta Lee [McMullen] Sprowls
October 6, 1921 ~ April 8, 2007


Graveside service for Vesta Lee Sprowls, 85, of Minco, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the Evergreen Cemetery, Minco, Oklahoma.

Vesta Lee Sprowls was born October 6, 1921 in Minco, Oklahoma the daughter of Frank and Mamie [Jolley] McMullen and died Sunday, April 8, 2007 in Chickasha.

Vesta lived around the Minco and Pocasset areas all of her life. She and Carol Sprowls were married in 1938, and he preceded her in death in 1997.

Vesta was a member of the Pocasset Methodist Church.

She was also preceded in death by: Parents.

Survivors include: two sons: Jerry and Daisy Sprowls of Pocasset; Billy Sprowls and his fiance' Lora of Minco; one sister: Vermadine McMullen of Chickasha; one brother-in-law: Ronald Sprowls and wife Eula of Chickasha; four granddaughters: Ronda Harmon of Pocasset; Chrystal Newton of Chickasha; Danene Sprowls of Pocasset; Wendy Cunningham of Oklahoma City; Great-grandchildren: Steven Nixon and wife Amanda, Nikki Sprowls, Carsyn Cunningham, and Alec Cunningham; one great-great-granddaughter: Taylor Nicole Nixon; Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Minco, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
