Helen [Chappell] Richardson
December 15, 1913 ~ January 10, 2010


Helen Richardson, 96, died January 10, 2010, at Intergris Hospice House in Oklahoma City.

Helen Chappell Richardson was born December 15, 1913 to William and Susie Kirkpatrick Chappell at the home place West of Minco, Okla., better know as the Hazel Dell community.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, at the First Baptist Church in Minco with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home, Minco.

Helen [Chappell] Richardson
December 15, 1913 ~ January 10, 2010


Helen Richardson, 96, passed away on January 10, 2010 at Integris Hospital House, in Oklahoma City.

Helen Chappell Richardson was born December 15, 1913, to William and Susie Kirkpatrick Chappell at the home place west of Minco, better known as the Hazel Dell community.

She was a long time member of Hazel Dell Baptist Church and First Baptist Church in Minco.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave, her parents, one sister, Hazel Pond, and two brothers, Clarence and Garland Chappell, and one granddaughter, Jaymie Ross.

She is survived by her children, Mary Lou Doughty [husband Dean], Loretta McCoy, Bill Armstrong [wife Donna], stepchildren, David Richardson [wife Donna], Phil Richardson [wife Janalee] and Sharon Valentine [husband, Dale], 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, one sister, Juanita Albers [husband LeRoy], numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She resided in the Minco/Pocasset area until 2005, when she chose to move to Mustang Manor Assisted Living Center.

She will be remembered as a gracious, generous and loving wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, sister and a friend to all.

Our family is most thankful for the loving, comforting care she received during her final days at Integris Hospice House.

Services were held 10 a.m. Tues., Jan. 12, at the First Baptist Church in Minco with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Minco Senior Citizens Cemter. Thank you, Huber~Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.
