January 10, 1921 ~ February 23, 2007 Graveside services for Mildred J. Phelps, 86 of Minco were held on Monday, February 26, 2007 at 10 a.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco with Rev. David Mercer from the Minco United Methodist Church officiating under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco. Mildred J. Phelps was born January 10, 1921 at Rush Springs to Sam and Jessie Mae (Taylor) Greenroyd and died Friday, February 23, 2007 at Chickasha. She was a lifelong resident of Minco. Mildred married Patrick Henry Phelps, Sr. on July 2, 1938 at Grady/Caddo/Canadian County line. She was a homemaker, a membr of the Minco United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Mildred was preceded in death by Parents; Husband: Patrick, Sr. on 7-10-1987; three sisters: Cynthia Hoven, Jerry Horn, and Babs Redding; three brothers: Melvin "Coot" Greenroyd, Glen Greenroyd, Sid Greenroyd; three half brothers: John Newman, Wesley Greenroyd, Sr. and Brady Greenroyd; one great grandson: Ryan Stroud; and a son-in-law: John David Wehling. Mildred is survived by: One son and daughter-in-law: Patrick Jr. and Jerry Phelps of Ft. Cobb Lake; one daughter: Marilyn Wehling of Oklahoma City; two brothers: Haskell Greenroyd, Sr. of Minco, Wesley "Sonny" Jr. and Janice Greenroyd of Spencer; three sisters-in-law: Helen Greenroyd of Oklahoma City, Leona Fowler and Lou Phelps both of Minco; brother-in-law: Junior Horn of Minco; nine grandchildren; 21 Great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren. The family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful care and support given by the staff at Glenhaven Assisted Living and Lifeline Hospice.
