Rev Curtis Robertson of Canaan Baptist Church, Minco, will officiate. Dorothy Jean McDaniel wa born June 8, 1930, in Pocasset, Okla., and died on Friday, January 7, 2005, at her home in Minco. Curtis Robertson of the Canaan Baptist Church of Minco officiating. Dorothy Jean McDaniel was born June 8, 1930 at Pocasset to J.W. and Lucy [Davidson] Gibbins and died Friday, January 7, 2005 at her home in Minco. She had lived in the community all of her life. She graduated from Minco High School in 1948 and married Buford McDaniel on July 4, 1948 at her parents home in Minco. She was a member of the Canaan Baptist Church N.W. of Minco and of the Pioneer Club through A.T. & T. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents: J.W. and Lucy Gibbins and one son Gary Dean McDaniel. She is survived by her husband Buford McDaniel of the home and one son and daughter-in-law: Joe and Joyce McDaniel of Minco; one daughter and Son-in-law: Janet and Eddie Morrison of Yukon; four sister: Ina Cobb of Minco, Joyce Evans of Minco, Helen and Donnie Smith of Minco, Jane and John McDaniel of Minco; seven Grandchildren: Jason, Josh and Wesley Morrison, Michael and Steven McDaniel, Justin and Jonathan McDaniel; six great Grandchildren: Bailea, Lane, Audrie, Hunter and Taylor Morrison and Lauren McDaniel. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery of Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco.
