Funeral services for Nellye May Wilson Maupin, 74, of Minco, Okla., are pending wih Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.

Nellye May Wilson Maupin was born November 12, 1928, in Cogar, Okla., and died on Monday, January 26, 2004, at her home in Minco.

Funeral services for Nell M. Maupin, 75, of Minco, Okla., will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004, at First Baptist Church of Minco. Rev. Sam Scott, of First Baptist Church of Minco, will officiate.

Nell M. Maupin was born Nov. 12, 1928, at Cogar, Okla., and died on Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, at her home in Minco.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Minco, under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.

At the family's request, in lieu of flowers please consider donations to the Troy and Dollie Smith Cancer Center for Research, 3300 N.W. Expressway, Suite 1600, Oklahoma City, OK 73112.

Nellye May [Wilson] Maupin
November 12, 1928 ~ January 26, 2004


Funeral services for Nell M. Maupin, 75 of Minco were held Saturday, January 31, 2004, 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Minco, with Rev. Sam Scott of the church officiating.

Nell was born November 12, 1928 at Cogar to William L. and Lillie Ruth [Argo] Wilson and died Monday, January 26, 2004 at her home in Minco.

She was born and raised in the Minco, Cogar communities.

Nell moved to Oklahoma City when she was 16 and moved back to Minco in 1977 from Oklahoma City.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Minco and was a retired LPN for the Veterans Hospital.

Ms. Maupin was preceded in death by her parents: William and Lillie Ruth Wilson; her husband: Chapman White "Buzz" Maupin; one daughter: Olivia Marie Maupin Ostrand; one sister: Billye Ruth Ritchey; one brother: John Cornelius.

She is survived by one son: John A. Maupin of Okahoma City; one daughter: Leslie Denise Maupin of the home in Minco; one sister: Shirley Wilson of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren: Lillie Renee Maupin of Oklahoma City and John Alexander Maupin of Oklahoma City; one great grandson: Zaccharias A. Maupin of Oklahoma City.

Burial under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco at Evergreen Cemetery in Minco.
