Officiating, Reverend Dave Conrad of the Minco United Methodist Church. Burial, Evergreen Cemetery of Minco, under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco. Oscar was born July 1, 1916, in Minco to Henry and Pauline [Doebeli] Knippelmier, and passed Monday, December 7, 2009, at this home in Minco. Oscar was born and raised in the Minco area, and graduated Minco High School in 1932. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. He married Val M. Vydrzal on April 27, 1940, in Houston, Texas. Oscar was a member of the El Reno American Legion Post #34. He retired from ARCO Refinery in Houston, TX after 35 years service as a heavy equipment operator. Oscar is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Pauline Knippelmier, one brother, Walter Kippelmier and one great granddaughter, Ava Knippelmier. He is surived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Betty Knippelmier of Austin, Texas; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sylvia and Al Wolk of Huffman, Texas, and Phyllis Britt of Minco; one sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Paul Kitts of Bakersfield, Calif.; one sister-in-law, Esther Knippelmier of Johnson, Neb.; seven grandchildren, Steven Travis, Greg Wolk, David and Tracy Knippelmier, Jef Wolk, Janet Knippelmier, Jake and Lisa Britt, and Scott and Grace Wolk, and 1 great grandson, Nathan Britt.
