Minco, Oklahoma May 1991 June 18, 1924 ~ May 14, 1991 The funeral for James H. "Jim" Ingram, 66, 2126 Quailwood, who died Tuesday at Bass Baptist Hospital, will be at 10 AM Friday at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Dr. Gary Smith and the Revs. Jim Ingram and Howard Ingram will officiate. Graveside service will be at 2:30 PM in Evergreen Cemetery at Minco. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. He was born June 18, 1924, in Verden to James H. And Bessie Anthony Ingram, and attended school at Minco. He was a veteran of World War I I, serving in the U. S. Marine Corps. On January 8, 1966, he married Jacquelyn Smith. He was an enforcement chief for the motor vehicle division of the Oklahoma Tax Commission. He came to Enid in 1967 from Oklahoma City and operated his own mobile home moving business for 20 years. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and drove the band bus at Chisholm high school. He also was on the Town Council of North Enid. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Jim Jr. of Edmonds, Washington, and Jason of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Pat (Debra) Faircloth of Hartsville, South Carolina, Mrs. David (Robin) D'Amours of Columbia, Tennessee, Janie Ingram of Enid and Cathy Ingram of Englewood, Florida; two step sons, Paul Laubach of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and John Laubach of Englewood, Colorado; one brother, Howard of San Antonio, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Donald (Mildred) Osburn of Blanchard and Mrs. Bill (Flo) Haydn of Medill; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. |
