Mary Lavern [Balke] Horn
December 25, 1926 ~ December 9, 2005


Graveside services for Mary Lavern Horn, 78 of Minco were held Monday, December 12, 2005, 2 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco with Rev. Brent Lauder of the First Reformed Presbyterian Church in Minco officiating, under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco.

Mary Lavern Horn was born December 25, 1926 at Minco to William H. and Mary (Meyers) Balke and died Friday, December 9, 2005 at Chickasha. She has lived in the Minco community all of her life.

She married James Robert Horn on March 1, 1960 at Minco and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by parents: William and Mary Balke; four sisters: Irene Goodenough, Gladys Gossage, Evelyn Jester, and Ann Baird; one brother: William Fred "Buster" Balke.

Survivors include Husband: Robert of the home in Minco; one daughter and son-in-law: Lisa and Larry Brown of Minco; one sister: Roberta Hegland of Bakersfield, California; two grandchildren: Robbie Brown and wife Jana, Tiffany Ann Brown all of Minco.
