Pearl Francis [Ventris] Guthery
April 13, 1906 ~ July 25, 2005


Funeral services for Pearl Francis Guthery, 99 of Minco will be Thursday, July 28, 2005 at 10:00 am at the First Reformed Presbyterian Church in Minco. Officiating will be Rev. Brent Lauder of the First Reformed Presbyterian Church and Rev. Joe Staub former minister of the First Reformed Presbyterian Church in Minco.

Pearl Francis Guthery was born April 13, 1906 in Woodward County, Oklahoma to Lewis T. and Edith (DeSpain) Ventris and died Monday, July 25, 2005 at her home in Minco. She lived in the Minco community most of her life. Pearl married Alvin B. Guthery on September 24, 1924 and was a homemaker and loved to cook. Her favorite job was flipping burgers at the Coffee Cup Cafe in Minco. She was a member of the First Reformed Presbyterian Church in Minco.

She was preceded in death by parents: Lewis and Edith Ventris; husband: Alvin on February 27,1987; two sons: Alva and Bennie Lou Guthery; one granddaughter: Roxanne Stallings; three brothers: Clarence, Lloyd and Clyde Ventris; four sisters: Alta Moody, Orel Willett, Ollie Hatcher and Ola Jane Ventris.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Roy and Florry Guthery of Minco; one daughter and son-in-law: Louise and Jimmie Thomas of Minco; nine Grandchildren: Terry Vermuele, Kathy Jennings, Loy Craig, Tina Craig, Steve Guthery, Tim Guthery, Kenneth Guthery, Vicki Caves, Kimberly Stevens; 26 Great Grandchildren; 13 Great Great Grandchildren; seven Great Great Great Grandchildren.

Burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco.
