Died: November 25, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born: June 27, 1942 in Mobile, Alabama to Alva Louis and Louvenia K. Goza. He retired as Deputy Fire Chief at Tinker AFB in 1991. He was a longtime active church member at Country Estates Baptist Church and a U.S. Air Force Veteran, 1961-1965. Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Dennis; his brothers, W.L. Kelley, Glenn Kelley, Jerry Kelley, Bobby Kelley; his sisters Jackie Pereau and Peggy Pope; and his parents. Jerry is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lorita of the home; daughter Kelly Borum and husband Tony, of Midwest City; daughter Kathy Busenius and husband Russell of Midwest City, and son David Goza and wife Dana of Baton Rouge, LA; brother Randall Kelley of Mobile, AL; brother Benny Kelley of Hodge, LA; sister Billy Joyce Pettis of Mobile, AL; sister Elizabeth Taunton of Crossett, AR; 14 grandchildren: Crystal Easterling, husband Rick; Christopher Futrell, wife Traci; John Futrell; D.J. Futrell; Courtney Futrell; Taylor Epling, husband Jared; David Borum; Michael Busenius; Joshua Busenius; Ryan Busenius; Nate Goza; Alex Goza; Will Goza; Anna Goza; and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, November 29th at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home from 5pm-7pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th, 2013 at 11:00am at Country Estates Baptist Church, Midwest City, OK with internment following for family at Evergreen Cemetery in Minco, OK. |
