© The Tuttle Times Tuttle, Oklahoma February 25, 2009 August 29, 1924 ~ February 19, 2009 Services for Imogene Chance, 84, of Minco, were held Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009 with Rev. Larry Harris officiating. Imogene Chance was born August 29, 1924 in Sevierville, Tenn. to Jake W. and Dora [Bettis] Fain. She died on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Imogene lived in the Minco community since 1971. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church and had worked as a nurses aid. She married James Wesley Chance on August 30, 1941 in North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on November 3, 1987, one daughter Patricia Garrett, one son-in-law John Holaday, two brothers and sister-in-law Vernon Fain and Maurice and Trula Fain, one sister and brother-in-law Wynelle and Don Henderson. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Jim and Christie Chance of Hyde Park, Utah, David and Neddie Chance of Hot Springs, Ark., one daughter Janice Holaday of Mustang, one son-in-law Ray Garrett of Sasakwa, two brothers and a sister-in-law Marvin and Joy Fain of Weatherford, Texas and Ferrell Fain of Maryville, Tenn., one sister-in-law Dorothy Fain of Pigeon Forge, Tenn., 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery of Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco. |
