Rev. Eddie Critchfield, of Southern Heights Baptist Church, El Reno, Okla., and Chaplain Bennie Mathews, of Hospice of Chickasha, will officiate. Rev. Eddie Critchfield of the Southern Heights Baptist Church in El Reno and Chaplain Bennie Mathews of the Chickasha Hospice officiated. LaVerne was born November 13, 1913 in Atoka, Oklahoma to Adam Francis and Rachel Mae [Carns] Burchfield and died Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at Chickasha. She had lived in the Minco community all of her life and married Carl Morris Bush on October 4, 1929 in Pocasset. She was a member of the Canaan Baptist Church in Minco and was a homemaker. Laverne was preceded in death by her parents: Adam and Rachel Burchfield; husband: Carl M. Bush, February 18, 1989; one son: Donald Bush; one daughter: Clara Mae "Polly" Albers; one grandson: Donald Raymond Douglas; four brothers: Walter, Claud, Alfred and Robert Burchfield and one sister: Winnie 0. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law Jeanie and Raymond Douglas of Minco; one sister: Viola Arnold of Minco; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco. |
