© The Tuttle Times Tuttle, Oklahoma June 2005 December 31, 1939 ~ June 6, 2005 Funeral services for Marvin Brown, 75 of Minco were held Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at 10:00 am at the Minco First Baptist Church with Rev. David Mercer of the Minco United Methodist Church and Rev. Curtis Robertson of the Canaan Baptist Church in Minco officiating. Marvin Brown was born December 31, 1929 at Cogar to Ernest and Ora Edna [Tullis] Brown and died at his home in Minco on Monday, June 6, 2005. He lived in the Minco-Cogar communities all of his life and worked as a welder. He married Wanell Lumpkin on July 14, 1950 at El Reno. Mr. Brown served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Ora Brown. He is survived by his wife Wanell of the home in Minco; two sons and daughters-in-law: James and Louise Brown of Oklahoma City, Larry and Lisa Brown of Minco; two daughters and sons-in-law: Debbie and Steve Ward of Yukon, Lisa and Randy Kirkegard of Minco; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Juanita and Tony Goff of Oklahoma City, Valdean and Leo Clay of Oklahoma City; one brother and sister-in-law: Cecil and Charlene Brown also of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren © The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma June 7, 2005 December 31, 1939 ~ June 6, 2005 Services for Marvin Brown, 75, of Minco, will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Minco First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery of Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco. Mr. Brown was born December 31, 1939 at Cogar to Ernest and Ora Edna [Tullis] Brown. He died at his home in Minco on Monday, June 6, 2005. |
