Services for William E. "Bill" Betts, 65 of Oklahoma City, former Minco resident, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2010, at the Assembly of God Church in Minco. The Rev. Wes Warren will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Minco. William E. "Bill" Betts was born Dec. 7, 1944, at Enid to John R and Goldie Irene (Snyder) Betts. He died, Sunday, July 25, 2010 at his home in Oklahoma City. |
© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Saturday, June 7, 2003 January 17, 1945 ~ June 5, 2003 Funeral services for Clinton native Mrs. Sandy Lee [King] Betts, age 58 of Minco, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Assembly of God Church in Minco. Rev. Wes Warren, pastor, officiating. Sandy Betts died on Thursday, June 5, 2003. She was born on January 17, 1945 at Clinton. Sandy lived in the Minco community for the past 10 years. Before that she lived in Union City. She was married to William Elton Betts on January 10, 1965 in Putnam. Mrs. Betts was a nurse's aide and as a substitute teacher in the Minco Schools. She also had helped with the Minco FFA Ag Boosters organization. She was a member of the Minco Assembly of God Church. Preceding Sandy in death were her father, Frank King, in 1990; and grandmother, Abielina King. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Minco under the direction of Huber-Reynolds Funeral Home in Minco. Survivoring Sandy are her husband, William Betts, of the home in Minco; two sons, Ray Betts and his wife, Carla, of Yukon, John Betts of Minco; a daughter, Becky Anthony and her husband, Greg, of Minco; a brother, Stacy King and his wife, Vickie, of Putnam; a sister, Kay Adler and her husband, Larry, of Putnam; an aunt, Neoma Thomas of Oklahoma City; and five grandchildren. |
