The infant son of Sherman and Annie [Graham] Payne has died and been laid to rest at Brushy Creek Cemetery.

He leaves behind to mourn his passing, his parents and siblings of the home; and his grandparents, Margaret and Mashack Payne, of Amber; and several aunts and uncles, of Grady County.

The infant's parents are long time residents of Grady County.

His father was born in Chase County, Kansas, and came to Grady County with his parents in 1890 at the age of 16 and has been farming here since that time. His mother is a native of Texas who came to Grady County several years ago.
