Funeral service for Jimmy Lee Thornburg, Sr., 52, of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2006 at the Southern Baptist Church of Alex.

Jimmy Lee Thornburg, Sr., was born July 18, 1953 in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina the son of James and Ruby [Tuck] Thornburg and died March 2, 2006 in Pocasset.

Jimmy lived in Bradley for 3 years and had lived in Pauls Valley for the last 6 years. He had worked for Nabors Drilling for almost 20 years and was currently working for Goober Drilling Company.

He was preceded in death by: parents; one brother: James "Butch" Thornburg.

Survivors include: children: Kevin Thornburg, Brandy Goodman, Jeffrey Thornburg, Jimmy Lee Thornburg, Jr., Janella Thornburg; two sisters: Debra Keef, Sue Mowdy; one brother: Ricky Dale Thornburg; four grandchildren.

Interment will be in the Bradley Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
