© Wilson-Little Funeral Home Newcastle, Oklahoma September 7, 2013 Earl Otis Simms December 18, 1942 ~ September 7, 2013 Earl Otis Simms age 70, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Broadway Living Center in Lexington, OK. Earl was born on December 18, 1942 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to parents Harry Simms and Tawanda Lee [Beene] Simms. Earl grew up in Duncan and graduated from Duncan High School in 1961. He later attended three years at the University of Oklahoma before he was forced to quit school due to a disability. Earl was intelligent, he had a great memory and made friends easily. He will always be remembered and loved by his family and his friends. Earl became a born again believer in Jesus Christ as a young man at the First Baptist Church in Duncan. He was preceded in death by: Father: Harry Simms, Mother: Wanda Beene Simms, Niece: Jennifer Cain. He is survived by: Step-mother: Virginia Simms of Yukon, Three brothers: Phil Simms and wife Martha of Blackwell, Mike Simms and wife Phyllis of Springfield, MO, Harry Simms Jr. and wife Ngoc of Norman, Two sisters: Julieann Simms of Yukon, Becky Bates and husband Kenny of Lawton, Also several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends at the Broadway Living Center in Lexington. Graveside funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Bradley Cemetery in Bradley, OK. Funeral arrangements are with Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
