February 2013 Margie Lou [Powell] Pennington July 28, 1938 ~ February 15, 2013 Graveside service for Margie Lou Pennington, age 74, of Chickasha, OK, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at the Bradley Cemetery in Bradley, OK. Rev. Alice Wendling will officiate. Margie Lou was born the daughter of Arlie Powell and Leola Towery Powell on July 28, 1938 in Bradley, OK. She died on February 15, 2013 in Norge, OK. Margie was raised in Bradley and lived various places during her life, but always came back to the Bradley and Chickasha areas. She worked many places throughout her life, but the most important thing to her was being a mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlie and Leola Powell, and three brothers, Jerry, Joseph and James Troy Powell. Survivors include: sister Jessie Mae Winfield of DeQueen, AR; sister Mildred Holmes of Maysville, OK; sister Patricia Walthall of Alex, OK; son Ralph Pennington, Jr. And wife Sharon Of Norge, OK; daughter Pamela Speer of Chickasha, OK; son Seth Pennington and wife Judy of Chickasha, OK; son Brian Pennington of Grannis, AR; daughter Tracy Pennington Taylor and husband Larry of Lindsay, OK; son Larry Pennington and wife Kristin of Grannis, AR; daughter Karen Cottman and husband Brian of Mena, AR; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Services are under the direction of McRay Funeral Home. |
