Staff Sergeant Bobby Ray Pendley Sr
March 30, 1933 ~ June 25, 2018

Staff Sergeant Bobby Ray Pendley, Sr. was born on March 30, 1933 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Lillard Hi Pendley and Vida Destine [Simmons] Pendley. Bobby passed from this life on June 25, 2018 in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 85.

Bobby has been a resident of the Lindsay-Bradley area since 1955. Being a devote Christian man he was a member of the Bradley Baptist Church. As a United States Veteran he was also a part of the Post 23 American Legion in Lindsay.

In 1952, Bobby enlisted in the United States Air Force to serve his country. He served during the Korean and Vietnam War. During his service Bobby received the Air Force Longevity Award and the Air Force Good Conduct Medal. He served for 20 years, 6 months, and 6 days until his retirement. After retiring from the Air Force Bobby went into the Bit business.

Bobby met and married the love of his life Mamie Ruth [McDaniel] Pendley on May 20, 1956 at the See Chapel Community. Together they had three children: Jeannetta, Bobby, & Salbriana. The two had just celebrated 62 years of being together.

Bobby had many hobbies and interest he enjoyed filling his time with. He loved being able to sit down and watch a good Western show or wrestling match. He enjoyed being outside working in his garden. Although, the most important to Bobby was his family and getting to spend time with them.

Bobby was a wonderful husband, a loving father, and caring grandfather. He set a great example of selflessness and patience to his family and friends. He will truly be missed by all his family and friends.

Bobby leaves behind his wife: Mamie Pendley, his children: Jeannetta Weston and husband Archie and Bobby Pendley and his wife Cindy, a brother: Melvin Pendley and wife Jean, a sister: Carolyn Sue Wright, eight grandchildren: Marquita Colson, Bobby Joe Shank, Tanya Weston, Matthew Weston, Christa Pendley, Kyle Pendley, Alex Pendley, and Kanina Pendley, and five great-great grandchildren: Austin Pendley, Kale Pendley, Jetta Coy, Mikel Sparks, and Samantha Colson.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents: Lillard & Vida Pendley, a daughter: Salbriana Gale Pendley-Horrigman, and two grandchildren: Richard Pendley and April Elise Pendley.
