Merle Patterson was born May 17, 1908, and died on Monday, September 1, 2003. Patterson, 95, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, September 5, 2003, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home. Merle R. Patterson was born May 17, 1908, in Oklahoma, and died September 1, 2003, in Chickasha. Mrs. Patterson lived in Grady County since 1972. She lived in Bradley from 1972 to 1997, when she moved to Chickasha. She was a kindergarten teacher for 19 years in Champaign, Illinois. Mrs. Patterson was a member of the Alex United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buel Rorex Patterson, on November 1, 1983. Survivors include: 1 daughter and her husband, Maureen and Dennis Bekemeyer of Seattle, Washington; 1 sister, Mildred Fisher of Taloga, Oklahoma; 2 grandsons: Scott Bekemeyer of Menlo Park, California, Colin Bekemeyer of Monterey, California; great grandchildren, Mackenzie Bekemeyer and Bryan Bekemeyer. Interment will be in the Bradley Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
