© Alex Tribune Alex, Oklahoma December 23, 1932 Alice [Hampton] Lookaround September 10, 1901 ~ December 19, 1932 Mrs. Lookaround Dies at Chickasha - Funeral services for Mrs. Gus Lookaround, age 31, formerly Miss Alice Hampton of Bradley, who died at her home in Chickasha, Sunday morning, were held at the church in Bradley, Wednesday and burial was made in the Bradley cemetery. She was a former teacher in the Alex school and later employed as instructor in Indian schools in several different states. It was while teaching in Wisconsin that she met and married Mr. Lookaround. Her failing health made it necessary that she quit teaching and she came with her husband to Chickasha where she resided until claimed by death. She is survived by her mother, five sisters and five brothers. One brother, E. L. Hampton, is a resident of Alex. Alex Tribune, Alex, Grady Co., OK, |
