Allen Havens
February 9, 1947 ~ October 10, 2020

Allen Havens was born to Lester and Cliffie Havens February 9, 1947 in Corpus Christi, TX. Allen passed from this life October 10, 2020 in his home, his favorite place to be.

Allen married his best friend, his “Boss”, and love of his life January 25, 1967.

He has left to mourn his son Claude and wife Nataline Harrington of Bradley, OK; grandsons, Nate and Kylie Harrington of Katie, OK, and Doc and Pacie Harrington of Rush Springs, OK, and great-grandchildren; Rip and Harper. Sisters, Lavern and husband Terry Alexander and Linda Richards, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by his wife Juanita Havens, brothers, Austin Havens and Buddy Baker, and sister Ruby Havens.

Allen was the GRWD #3 water operator and volunteer fire fighter until his retirement. He was the best Poppa around. He loved to load up, and later follow, Nate and Doc. No matter where or what they were doing, Rodeo, Football, fishing, it did not matter, he was there. He was their first best friend. Many John Wayne movies and snacks were consumed on his babysitting watch. He had a profound effect on their lives. We will miss him terribly. We know there was a great reunion October 10, 2020 between he and Juanita, which makes this separation a little more bearable.

Memorial services will be at the Bradley Cemetery Pavilion October 16, 2020

Juanita Fern [Harrington]
September 4, 1950 ~ January 15, 2017

Juanita Fern Havens was born to Marvin and Daisy Harrington September 4, 1950 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Juanita passed from his life January 15, 2017 at her home in Bradley surrounded by her family and friends just as she instructed.

Juanita married the love of her life January 25, 1967.

She leaves to morn her death, her husband Allen, son Claude and wife Nataline, grandsons, and the apple of her eyes, Nate and Doc, 2 sisters Pauline Matheson and husband Ed, Charlene Davidson and husband Ron, brother-in-law Austin Havens and numerous neices and nephews and last but not least her friends J and Claudia Mann who she loved like family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Marlene Havens, a niece Darlene Havens Brown, and 3 nephews Marvin Matheson, Jordon Matheson and Jacob Moore.

Juanita has always said she was a jack of all trades and a master of none. With an 8th grade education she was able to manage RWD #3 for the past 30 years, retire from Grady County Fire Department, become a notary, work the Grady County Election Board and manage the Bradley Cafe for 13 years.

I do believe she mastered life. The things that truly mattered. She loved fully and contagiously. You never had to wonder how Nita felt about you. She told you she loved you and meant every word.

She has left a void for all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Graveside services for Juanita Havens will be held on Friday, January 20 at the Bradley Cemetary.
