Funeral Set For Gilpatrick

Funeral for George Gilpatrick, 69, of Alex will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Dibble Full Gospel Church with Rev. Jean Richey officiating. Mr. Gilpatrick died at 7 p.m. Monday in a local hospital.

He was born Oct 6, 1889 in Nashville, Tenn. and came to Alex 35 years ago.

He was a minister at the Bradley Gospel Church and built the Bradley and Dibble churches and farmed west of Dibble. For the past 10 years he has lived in Alex.

Survivors are his wife, Vernie Jewel of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Arlin Hale and Mrs. Secret Jarvis of Oakland, Calif., Mrs. Lawrence Wolfe of Oklahoma City and Miss Georgia Sue Gilpatrick of Alex; three sons, Herb of Pampa, Tex., Gene of Oklahoma City and J. D. of Richmond, Calif.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Patsy Olds of Farmington, N. M.; two step-sons, Rondal Boen of Alex and Ray Williams of Chickasha; 21 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Interment will be in Bradley Cemetery under direction of Brown Funeral Home.
