Wednesday, February 20, 2013 Cody Blaine Alexander August 10, 1994 ~ February 20, 2013 Funeral services will be held for Cody Blaine Alexander, 18, of Alex at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2013, in the Alex High School Gymnasium with Clem Cassmeyer and Kim Hayes officiating. Cody was born in Norman, Oklahoma, on August 10, 1994, the son of Terry Alexander and Candace Mitchell. He died on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, in Alex. Cody grew up in Alex where he was very active in the South Main Street Church of Christ. His passion was for his savior Jesus Christ and his work here on earth. He was a senior in high school where he excelled at football, weight lifting, baseball and golf. He was a member of the FCCLA, TSA, PLC and skills USA. Cody also attended the Canadian Valley Vo-Tech in Chickasha where he studied drafting. He was named to the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society. He was to be named the Salutatorian of the graduating class of 2013. Cody loved to make everyone laugh by singing, dancing and being silly. He loved spending time with his girlfriend, Ashley Hannah and his brothers, sisters and friends. He was preceded in death by: maternal grandparents; James and Barbara Mitchell Survivors include: father & step mother, Terry & Neely Alexander of Chickasha, Oklahoma; mother and step father, Candace & Danny Stewart of Alex, Oklahoma; brother; Caullen Alexander, "brother"; Jackson Lindgren, sister, Faith Alexander all of Alex, Oklahoma; brother, Aaron Alexander and step brother Lance Thompson both of Chickasha, Oklahoma; step sisters Cigie & Alex Lukens of Quinn Creek, Arizona and Tiffany & Wes Delbridge of Mesa, Arizona; me maw & papaw Terry & LaVerne Alexander of Lindsey, Oklahoma; grandma, Maxine Stewart of Alex, Oklahoma; grandparents, Jim & Sandy Schimmel of Lookeba, Oklahoma, also numerous Aunts Uncles cousins and friends. Internment will in the Bradley cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. |
