July 24, 1982 Tennie [Hacker] Dutton September 27, 1898 ~ July 24, 1982 The fourth child born to Alford M. Hacker and Orlena Davidson. She married William Allen Dutton on November 19, 1919 at Stratford, Oklahoma. W. A. preceded Tennie in death on November 4, 1970. She is survived by: three daughters, Bonnie Spurgeon of Seminole, Texas, Geraldine Shaw of Marlow, Oklahoma and Barbara Jean Rainwater of Big Spring, Texas; two sons, Vernon Dutton of Marlow, Oklahoma and Joe Paul Dutton of Abilene, Texas; one brother, Hubert Hacker of Melrose, New Mexico; three sisters, Lola Horn of Minco, Oklahoma, Sallie Yoder of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Lillie Busby of Minco, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. |

Oklahoma Tuesday, September 26, 2006 Frank Calvin Dutton October 4, 1915 ~ April 30, 2006 Frank Calvin Dutton, was born Monday, October 4, 1915 in Bailey Community, Oklahoma, to Scott and Mary Rowena [Wright] Dutton, and passed from this life Sunday, April 30, 2006 in Marlow, he was 90. Frank attended school at Old 72 school house northwest of Cox City. He lived in the area all of his life. In his younger years he worked for 50 cents walking behind a horse drawn plow. Those were thin but happy times. Frank married Ludie Mae [Rainwater] Dutton on October 25, 1932 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Ludie tells of a time when they found a dime and bought a pound of peanut butter. They came home and she made busquits and they ate the whole pound of peanut butter for supper. They moved to California and Frank worked as a logger in the Red Wood Forrest. He would always pick the biggest tree he could see, at that time he used a chain saw with a 6 foot blade. Frank worked in big forrest to help flood control, to small Lake Texoma to build the golf course. He loved all things in the great outdoors. In the retirement years he still worked on chainsaws and lawn mowers. He and Ludie loved to camp out and go fishing. They also loved working in there vegetable and flower gardens. He always enjoyed his family and friends to stop by for a visit and going with Ludie to Hilltop Church of God east of Marlow. His survivors include: Wife, Ludie Mae Dutton of the home; 2 Sons, Frank Vernon & wife Mary of Shawnee, OK, Marvin Allen & wife LuLane of Duncan, OK; Daughter, LaVennia Stucks, VA; 11 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters, Doffeene Moore of Alex, OK, Anna Lee Burleson, TX. He was preceded in death by Parents; 3 Brothers, Melton, Ligia and Cleo; 1 Step Brother, Lee Roy Grooms. |
