© Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home Marlow & Rush Springs, Oklahoma July 20, 1976 Anna Alice [Archer] Chesser July 31, 1891 ~ July 20, 1976 Anna Chesser Rites Friday Marlow [Staff] ~ Mrs. Anna Alice Chesser, 84, died in a Marlow nursing home at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday after a long illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel conducted by Rev. Larry Eisenburg. minister of the Marlow First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Chesser was born July 31, 1891, in Bailey. She and Dave Chesser were married October 4, 1908, in Bailey. He died November 26, 1964. Mrs. Chesser moved to Marlow in 1935 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Marlow. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Loretta Walker, Marlow, Mrs. Tommye Wright, Rush Springs, and Mrs. Johnnie Fine, Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Jewel Lovern and Mrs. Pearl Davis, both of Marlow; a brother, Roy Archer, Marlow; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Burial will be in Bailey Cemetery under the direction of the Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Bearers will be Kenneth Archer, Newt Boydston, Joe Kuntz, Ira Davis, Cline Craven and Jerry Husband. |
