© Ferguson Funeral Home Chickasha, Oklahoma March 22, 2015 May 21, 1965 ~ March 19, 2015 Funeral services for Darlene Kay “Katie” White, 49, of Amber, Oklahoma, will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at 2 p.m., in the First Baptist Church of Pocasset, Oklahoma, with David Treadaway officiating. Darlene Kay White, known as “Katie”, was born May 21, 1965, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Albert Lee Ryans and Betty J. [Bramlett] Hall. She died Thursday, March 19, 2015, in Amber, Oklahoma. Katie grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, before moving to Chickasha, Oklahoma, in 1977. She attended Chickasha High School. She met Terry White while working at Gabriel and they were married on April 3, 2003, in San Antonio, Texas. They had two children and later adopted five children. She loved her children and her favorite thing was doing for them. Katie was the most giving person. She helped everyone and lived her life to help others. She was always the clown and entertainment of the party. There was never a dull moment around Katie. She loved and mothered everyone. Katie was preceded in death by her father, Albert Lee Ryans; mother-in-law, Dorthy Melvina White; and several grandparents, uncles, and aunts. Survivors are her husband, Terry Alan White, of the home; children, Mallorie, Sylita, T.J., Abby, Nevaeh, Paizly, and Anna, all of Amber; mother, Betty Hall of Chickasha; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janice and Danny Torbelt of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Romona and Stan Reyes of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Brenda and Randy Mink of Alex, Oklahoma, and Leah Ryans of Amber; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donnie and Gail Bussel of Oklahoma City, and Albert and Dianna Ryans of Blanchard, Oklahoma; step-daughter, Megan White; step-son, Mark White and his wife, Deseree; four grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends. Interment will be in Amber Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. |
