Wayne H. Newberry
August 26, 1911 ~ December 19, 1979


Funeral for Wayne H. Newberry, 68, Minco, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, December 21 in Minco Assembly of God Church with Rev. Ray Cook, pastor, officiating.

Mr. Newberry was born August 26, 1911 at Anadarko. He died Wednesday, December 19, in Grady Memorial Hospital.

A resident of Minco since 1945, he operated the Wayne Newberry Used Car lot at Minco.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wanda Tumelson of Minco, Mrs. JoAnn McKay of Yukon; two brothers, Isaac Newberry of Chickasha and Clyde Newberry of Midwest City; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Guffin of Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Erma Allred of Chickasha; four grandchildren and a great grandson. Other survivors include Mrs. Lou Preston of the home; Joyce Shorter of Island Mountain, Calif., Mrs. Janie Wolfe of Ponca City, Chuck Preston of Minco and Jim Preston of Oklahoma City.

Interment will be in Amber Cemetery under the direction of Reynolds Funeral Home of Minco.
