© Ferguson Funeral Home Chickasha, Oklahoma August 2021 December 6, 1947 ~ October 25, 2018 Funeral services for Glenora “Faye” Jones, 70, of Amber, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in the Bible Baptist Church located in Chickasha with Arnold Vasquez officiating. Glenora “Faye” Jones was born December 6, 1947 in Oklahoma City, the daughter of Henry Woodrow Farmer and Wanda Jean (Morris) Farmer. She passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at her home in Amber surrounded by her family. Faye graduated from Tuttle High School in 1965. She worked in Tulsa for a time then moved back to Amber. On August 31, 1973, she married Edward Dale Jones in Pocasset, Oklahoma. They just celebrated 45 years of marriage. She worked for Pool Mortgage Company and then was employed at First Federal Savings and Loan. Faye then opened a daycare in her home; she loved children and all her “kids” called her “Granny Faye”. Later when Ed got sick she lovingly cared for him. Faye loved her family and really enjoyed her grandchildren. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by both parents and two infant daughters, Amber Lea Jones and Jamie Michelle Jones. Survivors include her husband, Edward Jones, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Rickey and Stacey Cauthen of Blanchard; daughters and sons-in-law, Cristi LeAnn and Arnold Vasquez of Chickasha and Misti Renee and Jim Martinez of Chickasha; grandchildren, Ryan and Annie Cauthen, Codi Martinez, Keeley Cauthen, Makaylee Vasquez and Kaleb Vasquez; sisters, Debbie Doke, Anita Sanders, and Kay Littlejohn; brothers, Charlie Loggins, Allen Loggins, and Neil Loggins; and a host of extended family and friends. Interment will be in Amber Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. |
