© Ferguson Funeral Home Chickasha, Oklahoma August 2021 May 10, 1951 ~ August 31, 2021 Funeral services for Dan Joe Jones, 70, of Chickasha, formerly of Amber, will be held at the Pocasset First Baptist Church. Dan Joe Jones was born May 10, 1951 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Jesse Lee Jones and Genevia Irene [Hervey] Jones. He passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Dan grew up in Anadarko then moved with his family for a short time to California before coming back to Oklahoma. On August 11, 1980, he married Patricia Ann Jones in Wichita Falls, Texas. They settled in Amber for many years, just recently moving to Chickasha. They had 41 years together. Dan worked for over 30 years at 4-Star Trailers out of Oklahoma City. He liked to fish and go to the lake any chance he could. He enjoyed watching his sons play sports and loved hanging out spending time with them and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Benny Ray Jones and Robert Lee Jones and a sister Janice Lockhart. Survivors include his wife Pat Jones of the home; sons Brett Jones, Brandon Jones and wife Lindy, and Bradley Jones and wife Neesha, all of Chickasha; grandchildren Cameron, Chandler, Caden, Charity, Carson, Chyanne, Cailynn, Landon, Jace and Jett; in-laws Edward Jones, Dean and Aleta Jones, Stella Thomas, Gary and Beverly Jones, Kari Molder, and Pam and Steve Snow. Interment will be in Amber Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. |
