© Ferguson Funeral Home Chickasha, Oklahoma July 2015 June 28, 1954 ~ July 7, 2015 Graveside services for Davyon Diane Surber, 61, of Amber, will be held Monday, July 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Amber Cemetery with Danny Carlisle officiating. Davyon Diane Surber was born June 28, 1954 in Los Angeles, California to Wesley and Vella-Lene [Parker] Ryans. She died Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in Amber, Oklahoma. Diane grew up in California and the Chickasha and Amber areas, and she attended Chickasha schools. She married Ronald Burns and from this union her four children were born. Later she married O.B. “Sonny” Surber. For the past eighteen years of her life, she lived in Amber and for the majority of her life she was a housewife, raising her family. She was an animal lover, especially horses and dogs. She enjoyed etching images into mirrors as a hobby. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Dewayne and Chuckie Ryans, and a sister, Novella Carlisle. She is survived by her life partner, Johnny Crutcher, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Desarie and Chris Fletcher of California; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Stephanie Burns of Chickasha, Ronnie and Sharene Burns of Chickasha, and Charlie Burns of California; step-son, John Crutcher and his wife, Kathy, of Chickasha; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends. Services are under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home. |
